Betting Options
| Bet | Wins When | Payout | House Edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dragon | Dragon card higher | 1:1 | ~3.73% |
| Tiger | Tiger card higher | 1:1 | ~3.73% |
| Tie | Both cards equal rank | 8:1 | ~32% |
| Suited Tie | Both same rank & suit | 50:1 | Very high |
Dragon Tiger Strategy
- Avoid Tie bets: Despite the 8:1 payout, the 32% house edge makes it a poor choice.
- Stick to Dragon or Tiger: Nearly 50-50 odds with only 3.73% house edge.
- Card counting (basic): If many low cards have been dealt, Dragon/Tiger are equally likely — no advantage. Card counting has minimal value in Dragon Tiger.
- Set session limits: Fast game — easy to overspend without limits.
